Thanks Thomas,

I know it shouldn't need to be a "thing" but it would be a "nice to have" if any communications regarding scheduling included all the main time zones - NZST, AEST, JST, and AWST; as an acknowledgement that this is a global community.

cheers, Clare

Also trying to balance giving UK/Europe participants option of live as well - which is why we haven't scheduled into the afternoons. Asynchronous interaction is best for such a varied timezone group.

Thanks.

Global Inclusivity . . . a tricky proposition

by Clare Alderson -

Thanks Thom :)

I get it, when you're trying to run a global mooc it's simply impossible to include all the people, all the time, for any synchronous community catch-ups.

but hey, we're a bunch a smart people . . . there's nothing stopping the folk out west from calendaring a splinter catch up, over the next 6 weeks.

hey Aaron, Josh, Irene and Rebecca if you ever feel like having a WA CMALT cMOOC mini session, let us know :)

I, for one, welcome our NZ overlord. ;-)
